Nestled on the east side of Daudkandi Upazila Parishad, west of Gauripur, alongside the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway, Hasanpur Shahid Nazrul Government College stands as an oasis of tranquility amidst nature's beauty, providing a serene escape from the bustling urban landscape.

Established in 1969 and subsequently acquired by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in 1972, our institution, initially known as 'Hasanpur College,' proudly holds the distinction of being the first educational bastion in Daudkandi Upazila. Following the liberation of Bangladesh in 1971, the college was rightfully renamed in honor of Shahid Nazrul, a valiant martyr of the Independence War. In 1998, the Higher Secondary School section was inaugurated, expanding our commitment to providing quality education to learners within and beyond the Daudkandi region. The college is situated on a total land area of 1.46 acres.

As Principal, it is my unwavering commitment to uphold the founding principles that define Hasanpur Shahid Nazrul Government College.
